Dear Friends,

One of the hardest things we do at the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America is have conversations with families who have lost loved ones to asthma. Our hearts break for them. We grieve along with them.

After hearing these stories, we are determined to do even more for people with asthma and allergies. We understand that an asthma or allergy diagnosis can be a life-changing event.  For those affected, we stand together, prepared not only to listen and to empathize, but also to serve as a lifeline of support and a reliable helpmate for life.

Many people don’t realize asthma and allergies can be debilitating – even life-threatening. Most of the 10 asthma deaths that occur each day can be prevented with proper education, medicine and treatment. But there are barriers that prevent people from controlling their asthma – like medicine and health care costs, poor indoor air quality from deteriorating school or housing conditions, outdoor air pollution and more.

So we fight, we support and we advocate in honor of those who have lost their lives. We tell their stories because we won’t let them be forgotten.

Will you help us fulfill our mission to save more lives? All we ask is for a simple gift.

GIVE A GIFT THAT SAVES LIVES

Your gift is powerful
. It enables us to continue our work so we can reduce the number of asthma deaths. It funds education programs, research, advocacy and community outreach that people with asthma and allergies need. And the loved ones left behind are comforted to know you stand behind them to make sure no one else has to grieve as they do.

As we close 2019, we ask you to be a part of our mission in 2020. You are a vital part of the work we do. You not only help us change lives – you help us save lives.

We are grateful for your support.
