How Do I Clean My Inhaler, Especially After Getting Sick?
There are a couple of important cleaning steps to follow for an inhaler that you cannot take apart. First, wipe the mouthpiece of your inhaler with a clean, dry cloth at least once a week. Do this more often if you have a current infection. Second, never use water to wipe the inhaler. This is because the moisture inside the inhaler can affect the dry powdered medicine. It is sensitive to moisture. You can clean the mouthpiece with an alcohol wipe that has at least 60% alcohol. Make sure to let it air dry. Following these simple steps will help to keep your inhaler mouthpiece clean. Itβll protect the medicine in the inhaler and be beneficial if you have a current infection.
