AAFA Community Services ·
Congratulations to our first #morethanasthma 2019 winner! Rashaun works hard to keep his asthma from turning his life upside down. He's an active boy who does aerial yoga and dreams of following in his grandfather's steps to become a fire inspector one day. How are you #morethanasthma? Upload a photo of you, your child or family and caption the image that shows how you are unique and how you overcome obstacles that asthma puts in your way . Thanks. This has nothing to do with my issues at all. I also do not have atopic dermetis. This does not help me. On Mon, Oct 22, 2018 at 11:22 AM, Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America wrote:

Mdashiquennobi, I hope that eczema will be cured one day, too! I know it's a frustrating disorder to have to deal with! Barbara, so glad you don't have eczema/atopic dermatitis to deal with! Re: Allergy Awareness: Dust Mites May Be the Most Common Triggers of Year-Round Asthma and Allergies

SFMG ·
Dust mites and mold are a big problem for me when traveling, especially in Europe, so I travel with a large plastic drop sheet (the light type painters use) to wrap around a hotel mattress if it looks as if it might harbor dust mites, and have an inflatable pillow. It is very stressful to always be on the alert for asthma and allergy triggers. Too many times have I stayed in a hotel and ended up spending the night in the bathroom because the AC filter had not been changed in aeons and it was...

Re: October Is National Eczema Awareness Month – Here Are 5 Facts You Should Know

As my experience, Foderma eczema serum truly had helped with my eczema flare-up. I also decided to enroll in the auto shop as well. Still not able to find in my local stores. I would definitely recommend Foderma to a friend or family member.

I am looking forward to learning more about asthma. I hope alot of new people will read about asthma and allergies. The more educated we become, the more we understand others' struggles. We never stop learning! I have severe persistent asthma, COPD, and some other health issues as well. These health issues don't stop me from doing what I need to do! I still take care of my home and do as much as I can to help others. Keep calm. Stay strong. Carry on! 💪❤☺

Make sense with all the allergies in the air. You don’t quite think of asthma with say January .

Ben- I think alot of folks may not realize that asthmatics can have problems throughout the year. It depends what triggers your asthma. It also depends on what type of asthma a person has. ☺

Yes, Ben! This is precisely why we need to spread the word about asthma! People can become educated and possibly, some triggers may lessen...such as fragrance and pet dander in public places. They affect people with asthma year round! ☺
