Thank you for the welcome and the response. I understand that flu vaccine protects. My question was: if the asthmatic person gets the shot then he/she is protected. How will the vaccination status of others in the family affect the asthmatic? But Jen did answer saying there are other flu-related illnesses like pneumonia which could be passed on even if flu itself could be avoided.
@Jen would you know I had an appt with her last week, and I completely spaced this med out. I did talk to her about my eczema, and she did prescribe me a steroid cream (again), but, I forgot to ask about Dupixent. Rats! Not sure when I'll be going in to see her again, either...
Hi Jen, My sinuses were still reacting to particulates. Since the ash settled everywhere, it was stirred up by the wind. My friends also reported having sinus issues. Until it rained, I avoided spending much time outdoors. Deb
@Jen We are really good about using our exhaust fans in the kitchen and bathroom. Also, we purchased a dehumidifier this summer, which has really helped keep our humidity down. Without it the house sits around 60-70% humidity in the fall and spring. We also redid our kitchen in the beginning of the year and discovered a lot of mold behind sink and under dishwasher. Next are the bathrooms! (We live in a old house)
