File CommentWillow enjoys dancing, cheering for her sister while she races, singing, reading, and drawing. We keep all of our asthma items in a special “asthma backpack” so we can grab and go with ease! We always watch for coughing, wheezing, measure peak flow twice a day, and check O2 sats anytime a symptom arises. I’ve also been a pediatric nurse for 10 years (working with respiratory compromised children), so I think we have the clinical advantage as well.

Blog Post Comment✅The problem is that companies are too cheap to do it right and/or the ventilation companies are worthless. A local big box pharmacy has air flow in and out of their area. Having their pharmacy at positive pressure would keep all the customer's germs out of the dispensing area. People complain about smoky businesses: one bar I used to go to had 200 people that smoked and their air was clear, whereas you couldn't see across another bar that only had 30 smoking. Blog Post Comment👍Hi Karim, I have cold induced, which can also be induced by a sharp change in temperature by 35 degrees in less than 24 hours,and I don't think ive gotten more than a 200 on my flow. I also haven't had to use my nebulizer in just over a year and spent most of my morning winters in the ER. It's the height of ragweed season in many areas, mold counts are rise as leaves start to fall, flu season starts, and kids head back to school and pass around respiratory viruses like colds. Also school buildings that have been closed all summer may have a build up of other allergens and irritants. All of these can be asthma triggers.
