Blog Post CommentI am trying to quit smoking but have to say that 25 feet OUTSIDE is a bit much. Very few people smoke....so it;s not exactly a smokestack outside. Smoke is bad I agree but many disabled people cannot get 25 feet and live in public housing. I see both sides.

File Comment❤️Thank you Jen!! I am allergic to a variety of tress and grasses that grow in Arkansas. They are year around trees. Pollen, mold and dust peak high for me. My main issues is voiding a flare of Asthma attack. Strong smells, or any above, smoke etc can cause be to have an attack. Not allergic to pet dander.. Yea! I do have a hypo-allergic puppy! Maltice Yorkie Mix.. , Humidity is hard, flowers blooming difficult. We owed a large poultry operation for years. I was out doors all the time.

Blog Post CommentI am in Oakland and the smoke was so bad here that I stayed indoors for a week, with the house sealed and the air purifier on. When asthma symptoms started, I would use acupressure points to prevent attacks from progressing. It works amazingly well.

Although she said that AAFA has brought the perspectives of people with dander-sensitive disabilities to the Department of Transportation (DOT) (because the airline industry doesn't have to honor our ADA rights), AAFA does not, from what I can locate, seem to be doing any serious, aggressive public campaigns on our behalf. Blog Post CommentI have been on Ventolin for 7 years due to smoke inhalation scaring my lungs. I am pron to bronchitis and this is what my doctor has put me on. This year we have been denied 3 times from CVS stating FDA ruling. We have tried proair and proventin and they do not produce the results the doctor wants. File CommentIt is very difficult to find holiday rentals in Tuscany that do not have or admit animals. We need to have our own travel website, where holiday homes that AVOID the major triggers for allergies and asthma are listed..... It is not always possible to avoid ALL triggers, but dust, mold, certain flowers, pets and smoke CAN be excluded. Doesn't anyone want to start a "Home Away" or "Airbnb" site that specifically caters to allergic individuals???
