Blog Post Comment❤️Kathy, I am training to walk a half marathon on October 1st and I have many of the same concerns. I am doing well with training now, but I am concerned because July and August are my bad months for asthma and allergies. I also have trouble with hot humid weather. I am encouraged by your story and I am excited to follow your journey while I continue with mine!

Blog Post CommentI just bought several great mufflers/scarves so I can walk outside in cold weather without symptoms of cold weather affecting my lungs. I bought the Octr Mistral Skube, which is sold at ski shops. It is a light nylon tube that has elastic and a cord so it can tightened around the nose. It doesn't fall down like an ordinary scarf.

Blog Post CommentThanks for sharing, it's so stressful to watch your child go through this and all so familiar as to how it was for me when young. I'd be fine but never realized how fast an attack could come on. My mom would listen to my breathing and count how many breaths or how fast my chest was going up and down. I was taken off of dairy and wheat, it did make a difference for me to do that. One thing that helps me now is to have a portable nebulizer that can plug into the wall or in the car, so I...

Blog Post Comment❤️I underwent my second Bronchial Thermoplasty on October 4th, 2018. My recovery from BT 2 was a bit longer than the first procedure because my left side is weaker than my right. I was back to work though after 5 days off and back to my everyday life.
