I'm severely allergic to peanuts and cannot use proair. Pro air is manufacture it on the line that has peanut contamination. Whereas ventilon isn't. I am on social security and I cannot afford that price. However maybe it's the part D drug plan you have. If you were to change up you might be able to get it covered. Or your doctor should be getting samples .my doc provides me with samples .

@Maxmakc , what does your allergist or asthma specialist recommend about salt therapy? Is it part of a complementary medicine treatment plan? AAFA has a great blog post talking about the differences between complementary medicine and alternative medicine . Glad the salt therapy works for you. I guess there's no one-size-fits-all for everyone who suffers from asthma.

I just recently learned about pickleball TMF! Sounds fun! Sorry to hear you are experiencing asthma issues that are keeping you from enjoying your sport. When I started cycling, I really struggled with getting my asthma under control. I have exercise induced asthma and I seem to hit some wall around 20-30 minutes into a workout. I've had to work with my doctor to make sure that my asthma is under control and work out an exercise pretreatment plan to make sure I don't trigger an attack. I've...

All things that are difficult to avoid! As for the asthma plan, I'd push back on the pulmonologist for one. If need be, print out the one on the site here and ask him to fill it out. No need to reinvent the wheel.

The EPA acknowledges that the proposed plan is expected to...

I contacted my insurance company, Tufts, very happy that finally there is a generic Advair cost includes a $400 deductible per year then each discus is about $150. Not surprisingly, they told me that the generic isn't available on my plan. Ya. And if I wanted to, I could ask for an exception so that it's avaiable on my plan. Then, if it's approved it's TIER FIVE. The brand name Advair is tier four. So Tufts would charge me even more for the generic, IF they approved it for my plan. I've...
