I had to have my sister send me money to get the Ventolin inhaler that I need. I told my doctor off since he wouldn't do the appeal and said that I could pay for it! I'm getting a new doctor! My doctor I had for 14yrs. Would have done the appeal, but she stopped practicing to teach. So this guy took over and he's lazy and horrible and doesn't do anything! I have one refill left and will have to pay for it, unless the new doctor does the prior authorazation and does it right. On Apr 5, 2017...

Yes, Jen's exactly right. Plus, the Centers for Disease Control says this about who should get the flu shot: My DH isn't a fan of shots, but he gets his shot every year to help protect me and our daughter -- side benefit is that he hasn't gotten the flu himself since he started getting an annual flu shot. Could you talk to your doctor about what your doctor's recommendation is for flu shots when it comes to your particular family? Your doctor will know your situation best.

The white building on the far right of the photo is an old tide mill originally used for grinding wheat, now a working museum. There has been a tide mill on the site for over 800yrs. Across the river from where I took the photo is the Sutton Hoo burial ground. Anyone interested in ancient English history could follow this link for further reading...

Uniquelyme, I'm glad the meds are working. You're right, having hives IS an awful feeling. I can't explain the burning itch when I break out in hives -- it's different than almost any other kind of itch.

I am very, very frustrated and distraught with GlaxoSmithKline right now. If this is a problem, no matter how remote or minute, shouldn't the customer be able to return the product for a new product immediately? If not, why even bring it to our attention? I have contacted my pharmacy, my husband's pharmacy, my doctor and my husband's doctor and they know very little if anything about this recall. This is not something to guess about. IT IS MY LIFE..AND OTHERS... GSK needs to do a better...
