Blah blah blah. Probably just a numbers game. Wonder who requested the test. Too many tests are geared to get the answers they want and not true results. The same amount of oxygen does go through a mask, but with breathing issues, it is harder to pull the same volume of air through it. Kind of like a vacuum cleaner trying to suck a rag though. Any activity with a mask on I am huffing and puffing very hard and my chest starts hurting severely. Same activity without a mask, no issues.

The testing for COVID-19 is based on looking for specific gene sequences unique to that virus. Those are gene sequences that do not appear in other similar viruses. How do the new coronavirus tests work? Updated to add: you theoretically could have both viruses in which case you will test positive for flu A/B.

hello , i have excerice enducted asthma and i never get asthma atacks beside when i run or do a lot of sports , did not have any atacks since like 7 months im i still going to die if contact covid 19 ? or is it only for people that have uncontrolled asthma , last time i did the flow test i scored 250

I have full blown allergies to some fruits (apples, peaches, pears, plums, grapes) and I cannot eat them as juices, in jams, pies, marinades, or in wines or I get really ill-- at the very least vomiting, bad itching and redness, heat everywhere, just bad.. Sometines starts to affect breathing too and I carry epipens abd benadryl along with my asthma inhalers. I avoid these foods strictly (along with nuts). My son has some full blown allergies and some OAS/pollen-food syndrome. Usually...

No one likes to say this to people.. Doctors don't like to say it, but I got so ill from living with cats I was allergic to that I really wish I heard it earlier than I finally did. @LoriC try talking to the stores managers before hand call . Perhaps they can open the store early for you or shop for you . Unfortunately it’s policy and essential employees are trying to protect their health . Also other patrons are trying to do the same . At my job we had passengers who knew they were waiting on a pending Covid test and still got on a plane anyway without a mask . Every situation is not going to be perfect or to your liking but many are in the same boat as you .

I've had things I knew I was allergic come up negative on blood tests but positive on skin prick tests and obviously positive when exposed to the allergen. From what I understand there is a difference in allergic responses that isn't always picked up on blood tests, and also that sometimes an allergen has more allergenic components in it than what is looked for on a specific ige blood test but that do often pick up on the skin prick test. Good afternoon, Than you for information you just shared. I work with a parent who's child was sent to two different labs for blood work for allergy for lobster or shellfish after taking the prick/puncture skin test. Mom was very concern about having to go too two different labs for results. How can I help educate her with information that will make her feel better or understand the method used for results.
