Question
My family is going snorkeling this summer. Is it safe for me to snorkel with asthma?
Answer

Snorkeling presents much less of a risk for people with asthma than scuba diving. If your asthma is under good control, you should be able to snorkel safely. This is if you do not have active symptoms and are using all your asthma medicines as recommended.

It is recommended you discuss this activity with your doctor. Make sure that there are no contraindications. If needed, review and update your asthma action plan.
