I lost my 40 year old son last week, a husband, father to three young sons, brother! And very loved son. Last year at this time he was hospitalized and intubated to help him breath. When he started suffering very bad symptoms last weekend he was reluctant to go to the hospital for fear they would intubate him. By the time he realized how serious it was he collapsed and suffered a cardiac arrest. I am so broken and angry that he waited so long to try to get help. It is very hard to function.
I was out in Oregon recently visiting my father. The Eagle creek wildfire started while I was visiting. 50 days without rain, heat waves and wildfire was started by a teenager and fireworks. A shame. But I didn’t let it ruin my visit. My dad doesn’t have air conditioning and it made it a little more difficult to sleep at night but they had a ton of fans so that was helpful. I also doubled up on my allergy meds in inhaler so I didn’t have any flare surprisingly well I was out there! We even...

I was diagnosed with a severe chronic allergic disease. My...

I had developed severe asthma during pregnancy, and then had a heart attack caused by a...

Hi @Maja - it sounds like you're doing everything right. I'm sorry you have a fever. Calling your doctor and asking what you should do is recommended. Many of us are scared as well - sending hugs! Please let us know what your doctor says and keep us posted on how you are feeling. Lorene
No one likes to say this to people.. Doctors don't like to say it, but I got so ill from living with cats I was allergic to that I really wish I heard it earlier than I finally did. Now my case was severe-- but it didn't start so severe.. I took a medication called Singulair and it worked so well I thought it was magic, I had like no reactions. I moved in with my then boyfriend who had cats after starting it (I had went to my doctor asking if there was something I could take because my then-...
