Thank you these are great reminders! I always carry allergy-safe treats and any time my son or I gets candy that are no allergy safe I trade them out for the allergy safe ones.

I wish more people would be mindful of the impact that having animals present for trick or treat has on people who have to avoid the animals. Too many people bring their dogs, in particular, to trick or treat. Animals should not be present, including coming to the door of a house that participates in the event.
