AAFA Issues Parental Guidance Warning About New Peter Rabbit Film

The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) cautions parents raising children with food allergies that some scenes in the newly-released “Peter Rabbit” film may be disturbing for young viewers with food allergies. In the film, a character with a known food allergy to blackberries is attacked with them. This leads to a severe allergic reaction known as anaphylaxis and the need to use a lifesaving injection of the drug epinephrine.

Oh my gosh... I just read more of this--and it is Peter rabbit and his friends shooting blackberries into Mr McGregor's mouth on purpose to cause him anaphalaxis. How in the universe did this movie get made?!?! That deserves more than an apology... I mean like they need to run an educational ad before and after the movie in theaters and on DVD. I am boycotting it and I am mad--and I think an ad may help me be a little less mad... because I swear if some kid dies because of bullying because...

Wow, That is not nice. That is something serious and should not be seen in a joking matter. I agree a ad talking about the seriousness of that seen should have been included after the movie.
