Help us raise awareness about asthma and allergies during May, National Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month with 31 Days of Action. About 25 million people in the U.S. (20 million adults and 5 million children) have asthma. And around 32 million Americans (26 million adults and 6 million children) have food allergies.

Asthma alone causes 1.6 million emergency department visits each year. And severe allergic reactions to food cause 30,000 emergency department visits. With the right education and treatment, we can help people manage asthma and allergies to reduce medical emergencies.
