File CommentThat is a powerful story ... very encouraging! I've just started a topic on daily exercise to encourage us to get out there -- and also to keep us accountable. I'd love to have someone with your dedication and passion for exercise along for the ride -- I surely could use an excuse buster!

File Comment❤️A truly inspiring story! The Ironman is a great accomplishment, and to do so as an asthma sufferer is just so amazing! It is so great to see all the crowd behind you, cheering you on and supporting your efforts. Way to go Cathy way to #TackleAsthma!

File CommentThank you! Here is a video of the finish. It's a few minutes long but it's pretty exciting. I missed the cutoff by 23 seconds, but it didn't matter. Watch all the way to the end and see what happens! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndY9xptZI9w

File CommentAwwwww, sorry! It's a fun cry though, isn't it? :-) Such amazing people out there in this world. We located the athlete who gave me his medal and he and I corresponded for quite some time. He even added a "guest blogger" entry on my blog. Can't believe it has been nearly four years. :-)

File CommentOoh, did I miss you telling us about your blog?

File CommentIt's in the original picture post. The link is there at the end of my commentary. I haven't written on it in years but I do walk people through my journey (including details of my first lung collapse as a result of asthma) and how I maintain my asthma now. I'm a bit verbose. :-)

Blog Post CommentCould Vitamin D blood levels stem from absorption issues? Or a lack of sun on our skin, aka. outdoor time? Simply adding an isolate to treat symptoms gets us no closer to a remedy of the cause. Dig deep, many times it is less what we add to our bodies and more of what we subtract that brings our systems into homeostasis. #subtractionarymedicine

Database Record CommentAs mentioned above, a study I once read that was contributed by www.lung assoc about information for pet owners that suffer from pet dander said that th e most common allergy caused by cats is a protein from cats that is d ried saliva containing allergens that may flake off from an animal’s fur and become airborne. Their recommendation was a Purifier that does not "try to trap" the airborne allergens which is impossible but to look for one that drops the the allergens, and other airborne...
