Blog Post CommentI just bought several great mufflers/scarves so I can walk outside in cold weather without symptoms of cold weather affecting my lungs. I bought the Octr Mistral Skube, which is sold at ski shops. It is a light nylon tube that has elastic and a cord so it can tightened around the nose. It doesn't fall down like an ordinary scarf.

Blog Post CommentYes, Dawn is right. I know it seems easier to claim distance will help but dog dander is sooooo airborne and light and accumulates. I wouldn't be able to go on a plane with a dog on board.

By living in a dander-free home, his environmental allergies and eczema are much more under control with no medication. Blog Post Comment❤️#MyEczemaStory Since childhood, I’ve suffered from Eczema. This skin allergy looks like a rash. Also each section of the skin itches. Medicine is the only way, to treat Eczema. This skin allergy appears on my, arms, thighs and legs. When it’s warm outside I wear, capris plus light jackets. To cover up my Eczema from others. As always very appreciative to share my story! Through the, AAFA, what would I do without this organization? I’m sure other patients strongly feel, this way!

Blog Post CommentAlways a good reminder! How do you clean outdoor and/or indoor trees? I hosed my outdoor house plant (A Norfolk Pine-- it isn't a true pine so Im hoping it isn't adding to my allergy issues like true pines might). I hosed it off really good and let it dry under my carport for a few days before I brought it in. It can hold small, light decorations/ornaments. I purchased a small fake tabletop tree this year. Blog Post CommentI have intermittent asthma. I usually manage my symptoms (wheezing during the pollen season) with antihistamines and sometimes the Ventolin inhaler. I had an attack about a month ago and the last time before that was 10 years ago. For the most recent attack, I was prescribed Deltacortril for five days, and they certainly sorted the problem. Blog Post CommentMy 3 year old had an ear infection. She was treated with amoxicillin. She was still running fever after 5 days. It was at 104 at one point and hard to control. The doctor then switched her to omnicef. After the second dose of omnicef she woke up with hives in her diaper area. It then spread under her armpits, feet, hands, knees and elbows.
