I can only use the Ventolin and the Ins. won't cover it now and gave me Pro Air and it doesn't work for me! Now I don't have an inhaler that works and I'm 66 with Asthma and Bronchitis and a heart condition. The Ins. doesn't care if you drop dead! My doctor did a prior authorization for the Ventolin and they denied because it's not on the formulary list anymore! My cousin said to contact the manufacturer. Does anyone know if that works? I can't afford over $56 for one inhaler since on...
I'm severely allergic to peanuts and cannot use proair. Pro air is manufacture it on the line that has peanut contamination. Whereas ventilon isn't. I am on social security and I cannot afford that price. However maybe it's the part D drug plan you have. If you were to change up you might be able to get it covered. Or your doctor should be getting samples .my doc provides me with samples .
Salt Rooms are very beneficial and while MDs in the USA are not interested in them (they have enough on their plate) people who want true respiratory relief and less need of medication should be proactive and do their own homework. With google it isn't hard.
Most Salt Rooms offer greatly reduced costs when purchasing multiple sessions, which chronic sufferers really need. I don't believe in those cheap salt inhalers - there are no studies to support their effectiveness. Some very minor, short-term relief might be possible, but most chronic sufferers won't be helped by them. A certain saturation of tiny salt particles is necessary and it simply is not present with those cheap inhalers.
I'm so sorry about your son leaving us. I to don't get relief from inhalers. I do need to comment on all those balloon releases, its really bad for our bird friends and causes a lot of pollution and danger to our wildlife.
thank you for this notification!! I have this drug from this manufacturer just got back from my pharmacy and I don't have the lot being recalled!! What a relief!
This is why companies of a business for mass people I have said like hotels Uber Lyft Taxi Planes This is example about Uber's (Btw nothing against this guy so don't every want these people to get introubke and Amit not just them it's tooons of people, there needs to be law for boundary about air and containimant air in public spaces aka place of business) These places are not pet stores. This puppy is sooooo cute and sweet but that is why it is ignored But I see and cannot filter my Uber...
I hate my dependence on drugs too, though I've found that foods seem to affect my sinus allergy symptoms the most (even more than my allergens -- dog, cat, mites, cockroaches, mold, junipers). I do not have food allergies. Have you found that diet changes your need for drugs? I am pretty stable on just 2 daily OTC meds, down from 5 total, including 3 prescriptions, by better monitoring and controlling my diet.
I both hate the drugs and the fact that I’m dependent on them, and love that they usually give me some measure of relief. But these tests are the WORST!
I contacted Amtrak through their website with an electronic message option in October 2018. I received no reply when I inquired about how they are accommodating passengers with dog/cat allergies and allergy induced asthma. It appears that the travel industry as a whole is putting profits before public health and safety. Also, I don't understand why the travel industry is not subject to make accommodations for a breathing disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act. I had an allergic...
I haven't been able to fly since 2011. I contacted the ACLU and they declined to take on the issue of pets being allowed on planes and trains without even the ADA standards in place to protect those of us with dander-sensitive asthma and allergies. It is very unjust how profits are being put before life and death health issues.
Hi, Tangy! :welcome: I'm part of an asthma duo, too -- my DD and I both have asthma. Why not drop in the AAFA online community forum and share your story? Just start a new topic and introduce yourself!
So, if I fill out the form you send in a request to keep the AFA for me, with my information? No way! I didn't know the AAFA was a liberal site. I thought you were a neutral non-profit. I know more working people now without insurance because of the AFA. I now pay $1323.00 a month in premiums for a family of three. I used to pay half that. I personally hope and pray we find a better plan than the AFA. It's driving costs up and insurance companies out of business. The first year the US HAD...
