I was just wondering if anyone has any knowledge or experience with Dupixent and Dyshidrotic Eczema? I have had it for almost 2 years now. I have tried everything I know to do, as well as Rx creams from my Dr., and nothing helps...not even a little. The skin on my hands (back, front, sides, all fingers- sides, top, bottom) is so thick and itches so bad all the time. The only way I can relieve the itching is by popping the blisters. I'm about to go insane. I don't know what to do. The subject...
Welcome One Woman. I don't know that it has been approved for dyshidrotic eczema, but it's worth talking to the doctor. Have you figured out any triggers that make it worse?
@Jen would you know I had an appt with her last week, and I completely spaced this med out. I did talk to her about my eczema, and she did prescribe me a steroid cream (again), but, I forgot to ask about Dupixent. Rats! Not sure when I'll be going in to see her again, either...
Thanks. This has nothing to do with my issues at all. I also do not have atopic dermetis. This does not help me. On Mon, Oct 22, 2018 at 11:22 AM, Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America wrote:

Great Valentine's Day Tips! 💖💘💓💌 Yes. Be thoughtful and have a healthy holiday! A book of poetry and a cozy blanket that is safe would be great! A nice mug and a box of herb tea. A sweater that is safe to wear. A pair of slippers is always nice and comforting! For folks that are home bound, how about an adult coloring book and some colored pencils? A nice picture frame that has a picture of you and your sweetie in it! Have a Happy Valentine's Day! 😍
I love those ideas, AAFA and Deb! There are so many cool (non-traditional) gift options out there that can be fun to celebrate and dont bother asthma/allergies: video games, board games, DVDs, or books also make great gifts.
Its ridiculous that MD do have no protection for our childern. My daugther has asthma bad especially in September this year it was the 1st day. Plus yes our school systems is so not right. They failed my baby 2 two but over turned the last one. Then last year ask if she wants to go in her correct grade in October no this should of been offered before school started. Crazy no implenations or help.
I’ve suffered from eczema, along with asthma for my entire life due to extreme prematurity. I’ve always found it to be quite a nuisance, but especially more so once I entered HighSchool. I mainly suffer with eczema on my arms and legs. It took going through so many different medications to find what didn’t burn my skin, or make it itch a thousand times worse, and as a young kid, that impulse control was non-existent to the point where my arms would be cracked with blood. Luckily, it’s gotten...
Welcome to AAFA, Tyler! Thank you for sharing your story and encouragement! You can also share your story and journey in our Skin Conditions Support Forum.
#MyEczemaStory Since childhood, I’ve suffered from Eczema. This skin allergy looks like a rash. Also each section of the skin itches. Medicine is the only way, to treat Eczema. This skin allergy appears on my, arms, thighs and legs. When it’s warm outside I wear, capris plus light jackets. To cover up my Eczema from others. As always very appreciative to share my story! Through the, AAFA, what would I do without this organization? I’m sure other patients strongly feel, this way!
Lakia, thank you for sharing! I'm using your comment to start a new thread on our community so that you can get more eyes on your comment and maybe see how other people are working to improve their eczema.
I am getting horrible eczema under my hands. So horrific that some days I can infrequently put my arms down. Normally whilst it’s extremely cold outside. I’ve searched for something to help with the flare-ups for years and not anything helps apart from a really expensive steroid cream the dr gave me. Until I found Foderma eczema treatment serum!! It actually soothes and clears a flare-up overnight. I couldn’t live without it
Hi. I was unaware that atopic dermatitis has the symptom of sleep disturbance. Is the sleep problem due to the discomfort caused by the other symptoms or is the sleep problem a separate symptom? My 21-year-old has a small amount of eczema and he has trouble sleeping. He has never blamed the eczema for his sleep problems. Could there be a connection? Thank you.
Hi @StuffywithCare , thanks for your blog comment! It's possible that there is a connection. Have you mentioned his sleep issues to his doctor? Here's an article from the American Academy of Dermatology that may answer some of your questions. Although the article is targeted to parents of small children, the information is relevant for anyone with eczema. The article also mentions, " When eczema itches, it can keep a child awake or wake the child from a sound sleep." What Can Help a Child...
Nothing has touched my insanely dry and itchy bout with eczema-like foderma eczema serum. No pain applying to broken skin and almost clear by morning. Even the prescription stuff does not give these results!
Hi Andrea, welcome to AAFA! I am glad that you found something to use on your eczema. How long have you been dealing with eczema? Here is a great resource on Eczema.
As my experience, Foderma eczema serum truly had helped with my eczema flare-up. I also decided to enroll in the auto shop as well. Still not able to find in my local stores. I would definitely recommend Foderma to a friend or family member.
