I can only use the Ventolin and the Ins. won't cover it now and gave me Pro Air and it doesn't work for me! Now I don't have an inhaler that works and I'm 66 with Asthma and Bronchitis and a heart condition. The Ins. doesn't care if you drop dead! My doctor did a prior authorization for the Ventolin and they denied because it's not on the formulary list anymore! My cousin said to contact the manufacturer. Does anyone know if that works? I can't afford over $56 for one inhaler since on...
I'm severely allergic to peanuts and cannot use proair. Pro air is manufacture it on the line that has peanut contamination. Whereas ventilon isn't. I am on social security and I cannot afford that price. However maybe it's the part D drug plan you have. If you were to change up you might be able to get it covered. Or your doctor should be getting samples .my doc provides me with samples .
This is why companies of a business for mass people I have said like hotels Uber Lyft Taxi Planes This is example about Uber's (Btw nothing against this guy so don't every want these people to get introubke and Amit not just them it's tooons of people, there needs to be law for boundary about air and containimant air in public spaces aka place of business) These places are not pet stores. This puppy is sooooo cute and sweet but that is why it is ignored But I see and cannot filter my Uber...
Hi, Tangy! :welcome: I'm part of an asthma duo, too -- my DD and I both have asthma. Why not drop in the AAFA online community forum and share your story? Just start a new topic and introduce yourself!
So, if I fill out the form you send in a request to keep the AFA for me, with my information? No way! I didn't know the AAFA was a liberal site. I thought you were a neutral non-profit. I know more working people now without insurance because of the AFA. I now pay $1323.00 a month in premiums for a family of three. I used to pay half that. I personally hope and pray we find a better plan than the AFA. It's driving costs up and insurance companies out of business. The first year the US HAD...
Bleah, I hate to double post, but apparently it's been too long to edit since I was going back over the article to make sure I didn't miss anything. At any rate, just off the top of my head, I notice the following issues with this study (given the information presented in the blog; mayhaps the actual study addresses these?): 1) Number of participants: 223 2) The study was entirely self-report -- no control groups, no accounting for bias, wasn't double-blind, etc. etc. The article makes it...
I appreciate an article on this subject but it’s opinions such as this that lead ED physicians to make assumptions and call asthma anxiety. I had extensive testing and was found to have inflammatory asthma, mild bronchiectasis & TBM. I had adult onset and do not wheeze. My sat does not drop unless I have a concurrent infection. it’s not normal for asthmatics to have low sats during an attack that’s not approaching failure or intubation. Air exchange is ok, it’s the airway obstructing...
No one accepts used or expired inhalers. No drug store, no police drop off and no solid waste authority. If someone out there has actually returned an inhaler please let me know.
I have been following the news about the price drops for the Asthma controller inhalers. My only question is why hasn't GlaxoSmithKline the only pharmaceutical company that has not dropped the out of pocket costs for their Asthma controller inhalers? I see that the other pharmaceutical companies have already dropped the out of pocket costs to $35.00 as of June 1st, 2024. I am currently taking the Breo Elipta 100-25mcg daily Asthma controller inhaler. Does anyone know when GlaxoSmithKline is...
